She was predeceased by: her parents, Watt G Thompson and Buelah Maud Thompson (Hailey); her husband William E. Friess; her daughter Cindy Jo DePauw; and her brother Bobby Dale Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael C. Friess (Connie) of Gower, MO and Debra S. DeShon of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Scott (Jessie) of Gower, MO, Joshua DeShon (Tami) of Lincoln, NE, Trisha Pull (Joseph) of Brooklyn Park, MN, John DePauw of Hampshire, IL, Sean DePauw (Rachel) of South Elgin, IL and Shane Whiteman of Oilmount, MT; and her sister Sharon Erickson (Thompson) of St. Joseph, MO. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506).
