With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Webster Sawyer (Inverness, Florida), who passed away on December 31, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Sawyer; and his brothers, Edward, David and Preston Sawyer. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia McGuire of Indianapolis, IN; his siblings, Willie Sawyer (Annie Ruth, St), Emmitt Sawyer (Dorothy, St), Herman Sawyer of Memphis, TN, Wilhelmina Pittman and Norma Williams; his grandchildren, Myla Sawyer-Blair, Jennifer Mack, Peggy Phillips and Joshua McGuire; his siblings' children, Lariat Smith and Ruby Allen; and his goddaughter Nadine Redding (Michael).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are being accepted by the First Christian Church of Inverness, 2018 Colonade Street, Inverness, FL 34453.
