He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hansgen, Sr. and Edna Jane Hansgen; and his brother-in-law John "Rip" Rippel. He is survived by: his spouse Janel Hansgen; his sons, David Scott Hansgen and Robert Stuart Hansgen; his granddaughters, Abigail "Abby" Hansgen and Amanda "Mandy" Hansgen; his sister Ida Jane Rippel; and his nephews, Howard "Howey" John Rippel, Jr. and Mark David Rippel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Quinn Shalz Funeral Home (3600 3rd St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
