Betty Padgett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Padgett (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Lee (Mosley) and Ottis Padgett; her brothers, Loren Padgett and John Henry Padgett; and her husband Elijah "Billy" Padgett.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Padgett (Sara) of Brooker and Leann Wilber (Clay) of Middleburg; her brothers, Larry Padgett (Vikkie) of Live Oak and Charles Padgett (Kathy) of Middleburg; and her grandchildren, Bucky Williams, T. J. Williams, Jamie Blue, Peyton Padgett and Sarah Gail Padgett. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Long Branch Baptist Church (5500 Long Branch Cemetery Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32234). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (5500 Long Branch Cemetery Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32234).
