She was predeceased by: her sister Laquisha Mathis. She is survived by: her husband Krionnie Gates, Sr. of Jacksonville; her children, Nakia Jefferson, Katiemae Jefferson and Krionnie "KJ" Gates, Jr.; her parent Theresa Johnson; her siblings, Keisha Head (Curtis), Moteshia Clark (Jason), Cyntisha Mathis, Nicole Hunt and Johnnie Hunt; her aunts, Marilyn Hobbs and Mary Speight (Stuart); and her siblings' children, Alicea, Francine, Ker'yanna, Adrianna, Kah'dejah, Laqueena, Channon, Navanna, Princess, Jazlyn, Montreal, Joseph, Chad, Jurand, Micheal, Jahlil and Aiden. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferreira Funeral Services Chaffee Chapel (1320 Chaffee Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32221). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221).
