She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lewis Morrell and Sallie Mae Wammock Morrell; her husband Herman Cecil Johnson; her son Gary Christopher Johnson; her granddaughter-in-law Heather Elaine Kittle Hines; and her great grandchild Kamie Rose Hines.

She is survived by : her daughter Marilyn Jo Johnson; her grandchildren, Bret Joseph Hines, Jr. and Rachel Lauren Franzese (Antonio); her great grandchildren, Joseph Edward Hines and Charles Jacob Hines; her daughter-in-law Georgia Johnson; and her nephew George Spicer (Marilyn). She is also survived by many other nephews, nieces and cousins.
