She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Wade Simmons of Jacksonville, Florida; her daughters, Wanda Barnes of Jacksonville and Wannelle Parvey (Fred) of St. Mary; her daughter-in-law Jan Barnes of Jacksonville, Florida; her son Wayne Barnes (Carol) of Hernando, Florida; her grandchildren, Wendy, Joshua, Joseph and David; and her niece Laura Simmons Goodrich of Mandeville, Louisiana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
