He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Carter Barrett; his grandsons, Austin Ray Barrett and Hunter Duane Barrett (Shana Smith Fiancé); his great grandchild Brantley Duane Carter Barrett; his siblings, Barbara Williams Delorus Bunnell (Gary Williams), Leonard Carter (Cheryl Carter), Ronnie Love (Sylvia Love) and James Love; and his sister-in-law Annette Love Many (Lafon Love Jr). He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, and Grand Nieces and Nephews.
