He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Lively Daugherty; and his grandson William Lanier Pearce. He is survived by: his children, Linda Denise Pearce, Donna Renee Myers, William Lanier Pearce Jr. and Daniel Gordon Myers; his grandchildren, Christopher Royden Myers (Allie), Lauren Denise Pearce and Caroline Renee Myers; his great grandchildren, Aden James Myers, Adeline Presley Myers and Kai Daniel Myers; and his caregivers, Charles Smith, Lorna Watson, Katy Prashanth and Wilberto Ruiz Zambrano.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
