It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred S. Richardson Jr. (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Richardson Sr. and Muriel Richardson; his sisters, Mary Earl and Muriel Hoffman; and his son Martin Mark Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughter Amelia "Amy" Hoffman; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Richardson; his grandchildren, Cierra Richardson, Roenn Richardson (Ashley), Sydney Rivera (Pedro), Aidan Barrientos (Aiden), Tyler Hoffman (Meleah Cline) and Brooke Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Max, Amalia, Zena, Martin, Emrys and Amara; his brothers, Martin Richardson (Lavonne) of Kinglands, GA and Mark Richardson (Nancy) of Interlachen, FL; and his friends, Bill and Sandie McGrath of Winchester, NH.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woods Lutheran Church (7860 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Holiness Church (203 Montague Ave, Interlachen, FL 32148). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the Pineview Cemetery.
