He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Register and Bessie Wetherington Register; his great grandchild Addie Abell; and his siblings, Loye, Minnie Stormant, Betty Jo Lindsey, Gussie Cheshire and Ruby Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Gandy Register of Jasper, Florida; his children, Buzz Register (Terry) of Moultrie, Georgia, Denise Elizabeth Register of Jasper and Susan Register Bembry (Leonard) of Greenville, Florida; and his siblings, Phyllis Frazee (Don) of Pamona Park, Florida and Don Register (Darlene) of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
