With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Leonard Szirbik in Jupiter, Florida, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Leonard and Myra Leonard (Yale); her husband James Szirbik; her brother Edward Leonard; and her aunts, Alice Yale, Helen Yale and Eleanor Yale.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Santamaria (Mark) of Jupiter and Dayna Leigh Giordano of Branford; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Giordano, Jocelyn Giordano and John Giordano Jr.; her cousin Diane Johnson McDonald; and her niece Melanie Carbrey.
