She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Brown and Fletta Sneed Brown; and her sister Betty McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Walter H. Morris; her son Harold E. Morris of Jupiter, FL; her siblings, Rufus J. Brown of Nebo, Lucille White of Swannanoa, Carline White of Black Mountain, Canilla Jones of Black Mountain and John Brown (Irene) of Black Mountain; her granddaughter Alexandra Morris of England; and her close friend Alan Jonas Serra.
