He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Russ; and his siblings, Herman and Roberta H. Marshall. He is survived by: his son Herman H.; his stepdaughters, Theresa Lord and Suzanne Swope; and his grandsons, Danny Swope and Andrew Lord. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
