He is survived by: his wife Sandra Grothe; his brother David (Barbara); his children, Cynthia Grothe, Nancy Grothe, Mark Grothe (Kathy), Christopher Grothe (Marybeth), David Grothe (Louisa) and Jason Grothe (Beth-Ann); his grandchildren, Kristin, Justin, Spencer, Kaylie, Hana, Anthony, Devyn, Skylar and Aliyah; and his sister-in-law Vivian Mellon.
