She was predeceased by: her grandmother Austrid Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Steven P. Mathews; her children, Amy Barber (Daniel) and Daniel Houseman; her brother David Peterson (Diana); her sibling's children, Linsey Castillo and Bradley Peterson; and her pets, Bella, Lola, Arnie, Wrigley, Jax and Josie.
