She was predeceased by: her significant other Gerald Levern Sweeting; her parents, Ossie Lee and Eunice Calhoun; and her brother Melvin Calhoun. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Larry Sweeting and Linda C. Sweeting; her grandchildren, Charles Morehead IV (Ashley Glenn Morehead), Parker Morehead, Chandler Lovelle and Luke Sweeting; her great grandchildren, Daphne and Magnolia Morehead; her brother Frank Calhoun (Pat); and her sister-in-law Nancy Calhoun. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of one's choice.
