He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Norma Jean Amore Gilmore; his children, Robert Roy (Lisa) of Alexandria, David Charles (Kathy) of Pickerington, Elizabeth Diane Hartsock (Harry) of Waverly and Anthony Jonathon (Jodi) of Houston; his grandchildren, Mindy, Matt, Jessica, Michael, Kelly, Sarah, Nick and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Dean, Marcee, Aria and Jack. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren.
