She was predeceased by : her husband Edgar Mason Adkins; her parents, Leland Sawyer and Mary Sawyer; and her siblings, Florence A. Naves, Lillian A. Berube and Earnest Sawyer.
She is survived by : her sister Mary Louise Russell; her children, Mark A. Adkins (Dee), Melanie A. Adkins and Joseph N. Adkins (Suzanne); and her grandchildren, Dominque Adkins, Brendan Adkins, Sean Adkins, Madeline Adkins and Mason Adkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
