He is survived by: his daughter Bree Rains (Bob); his grandchildren, Brylee of Jacksonville, Luke of Jacksonville and Lyla of Jacksonville; his parents, JoAnn Allen-Kofoed of Fort Pierce and Bill Kofoed of Fort Pierce; his sister Susan Grimes; his nieces, Gracie Grimes of Okeechobee and Jamie Grimes of Columbus, OH.; and his great-great-grandparent John Geiger.
