He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Cruz and Miguelina Fernandez; his wife Isabel Cruz; his son Charles John Cruz; and his sisters, Margie Cowell and Angie Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Cruz (Diana), Julio Acevedo (Elizabeth), Michelle Maldonado (Kenneth) and Juan Carlos Cruz (Jennifer); and his sisters, Elba Fernandez (Oscar) and Carmen Maayan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Osceola Memory Gardens - Poinciana (3175 Pleasant Hill Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Carlos's name to the American Heart Association.
