With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde Clinton Griffis Jr. (Lake Butler, Florida), born in Lawtey, Florida, who passed away on May 14, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Sr. Griffis and Sybil Rosier Griffis; his wife Roberta Griffis; his grandson John O'Neal, Jr.; his siblings, Geraldine Griffis McDonald and John Solomon Griffis; and his nephew Carl McDonald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Griffis of Starke, Michelle Tompkins (Mark) of Starke, Teresa Elliott, Amy Lamb of Trenton and Daphane Lamb of Trenton; and his grandchildren, Justin Griffis, Selah Browning (Austin), Jared Griffis (Miranda), Joseph "Josh" O'Neal, Jacob O'Neal and Amber O'Neal. He is also survived by grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous foster great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
