It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Parker of Lake City, Florida, born in Tiger, Georgia, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bartow Holbrook and Bessie Manley Holbrook; her husband Michael Ray Parker; and her siblings, Jimmy, Bobby Holbrook, Tecola Holbrook and Bonnie Sue Holbrook Brock.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Parker (Deborah) of Orange Park, Rick Parker (Cheryl) of Orange Park, David Parker of Lake City, Linda Parker of Lake City, Hope Tompkins (Matthew) of Branford and Nicole Parker Kohn (Kurtis) of Columbia City; and her siblings, Billy Holbrook of Atlanta, Othelia Smith of Jacksonville, Carol Williams of Jacksonville and Joan Dunham (AL) of MacClenny. She is also survived by Nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025).
