She was predeceased by : her parents, Marguerite Ethel Young Thompson and Fred Caldwell Thompson. She is survived by : her daughters, Julia Marguerite Peele of Atlanta, Laura Peele Youmans (George) of Macon and Mary Katherine Peele of Atlanta; her grandson George Estus Youmans III of Washington, DC; and her siblings, Mary Emma Dryden of New York and Fred Caldwell Thompson, Jr. of Charlotte. She is also survived by her two nieces and their children along with many North Carolina cousins.
