He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Townsend of Lake City, Florida; his children, DeLaina Wilson (Darin) of Douglas, Georgia, Lewis Ray Townsend, III (Tammy) of Lake City and Rev. Michael Townsend (Carol Ann) of Live Oak, Florida; and his siblings, Avis Jordan (Earl) of Lake City, Florida, Kenny Townsend (Kathie) of Hatch Bend and Paul Townsend (Teresa) of Lake City, Florida. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
