She was predeceased by: her husband Max Akins; and her parents, Jessie Beck and Muriel Fox. She is survived by: her children, Diana Parker (Jimmy), Sandy Markham (Ken) and Ronald Akins (Terie); her grandchildren, Jenifer Coker (Jeff), Chase Markham (Jessica) and Haley Brown (Ed); her great grandchildren, Hilary (Rex), Alison, Emma (Jessie), Ella, Kenleigh, Jacob and Tara; her great great grandchildren, Caroline and Nathan; her siblings, Sonja Gardner, Brenda Daughtery, Barbara Ratliff and Frankie Beck; and her close friend Bill Sargent.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Lake City Humane Society or to the Heritage Church Joy Fellowship Fund.
