She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lucas and Hazel Sutton Lucas; her brother Douglas McCarter Lucas; her former spouse Van Wayne Bennett; and her sister Laverne Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Leffel (Pamela) of Michigan and Jessica Mickelson of Lake City, FL; her siblings, Beatrice Creamer and Don E. Lucas; her grandchildren, Tashia Cromel (Jon), Kristi Leigh Bruce (Brad), Kendra Cota, Kailyn Cubbedge, Hunter McCarther (Alissa), Allianna Denae Mickelson and Skylar Brielle Mickelson; and her great grandchildren, Holly Grace Bruce, Anna Leigh Bruce, Easton Lee Cota, Brynlee Mae, Bristol Leanne Cota, Tanner Silunsky, Selah Joy and Theo Alan MccArthur.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ferreira Funeral Services & Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel (14397 US-301, Starke, FL 32091). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
