It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Lee Tomberlin of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Mabel Whitney and H. Oscar Whitney; and her brother James Davis. She is survived by : her husband Edgar W. Tomberlin; her children, Warren Tomberlin and Lucy Metz (Doug); her grandchildren, Katie Davis (Justin), Kelli Caputo (Shawn), Alex Tomberlin and Athena Tomberlin; her great grandchildren, Owen Gray, Amelia Davis and Eli Davis; and her sons, Cecil Hurst and Michael Atherton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sumter Schools Enhancement Foundation (2680 West CR 476 Bushnell, FL 33513) in honor of Rosa Lee Tomberlin.
