It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Sala of Lake Placid, Florida, born in Cohoes, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph S. Sala and Jane Sala (Olszowy); his wife Margaret; his brother Francis R. Sala; and his brother-in-law Eugene Kromrey.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Brittany Welch (Shanna), Michelle Coulter (Ryan), Nicholas, Matthew (Katie), Angela Rumsey, Jillian Flowers (Christopher), Katelyn Sessoms (Gabriel), Justin, Kylie Sala and Sabrina Appell; his siblings, Joanne Kromrey and Ronald Sala (Mary Ann); and his brothers-in-law, Francis Santoro and Edward Choinere. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
