She is survived by : her stepchildren, Grace Riesen, Kimberly Spencer (Kevin), Robert Brimm (Beth), Jerlene Rapin (Anthony), Wendy Demand (Scott) and Malisa Raymer (John); and her pet Raja. She is also survived by nine step-grandchildren.

“Donaldson was a lovely lady on our Meals on Wheels Route. I always looked forward to seeing her. Such a bright and cheerful part of my Monday mornings. Though her sight had dimmed and she couldn't hear well, she didn't let that dim her spirits. She called me Glory, instead of Lori and I liked that. I told her that's how my mom would wake me as a child, Morning Glory. Donaldeen saw beauty in everything and encouraged my grandson and I in our love for art and creating. We will surely miss her.”
