He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hoy and Addie Hoy. He is survived by : his wife Alice Faye Hoy; and his children, Patricia Leigh Hoy of Pennsylvania and Curtis James Hoy (Tina) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
