It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larue Leverett Banes of Lake Wales, Florida, born in Luverne, Alabama, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Leverett and Odis Leverett; her husband Robert E. Banes; and her daughter Christine Mynatt. She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Grimes (Wayne) of Lake Wales and Teresa Foster of Lake Wales; and her sisters, Betty Watts of Orlando and Sharon Foster of South Carolina. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchild.
