She was predeceased by : her mothers, Connie Richardson and Emma Richardson; her husband E. L. Brown; her siblings, Winford Eugene Richardson and Minnie Lee Dowdy; and her stepgrandson Joseph Woodham.

She is survived by : her children, Darrell Brown of Lake Wales and Malena Marie Brown Woodham of Lake Wales; her siblings, Martha R. Dease of Lake Wales, Elizabeth Medlin of Lake Wales and Jerry Richardson of Lake Wales; her grandchildren, Aaron Lomneck (Morgan), Kyle Lomneck (Patience), Cody Lomneck, Logan Lomneck (Amanda), Dawnie Lomneck (Daniel) and Leanna Brown; and her great grandchild Leighton Jay Lomneck.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home (454 Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853-2700). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
