He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward M. Murphy and Jimmie Lee Touchton Murphy. He is survived by : his wife Linda K. Nail; his children, Darrin Mark (Jeannette) and Allison Leigh Meadows (David); and his grandsons, Brandon Mark Murphy and Jared Mychal Murphy.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
