He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Martin "Sandy" Harkey; and his parents, Walter Harkey and Edith Harkey. He is survived by: his son Jason Harkey (Lisa) of Land O' Lakes; his brother Vernon Harkey (Rebecca) of Palatka; and his grandchildren, Cade, Teagan and Jake.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Overturf Chapel (307 S Palm Ave, Palatka, FL 32177). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
