Raeymacker, Charles Briggs (Arlene) of Dunkirk, NY, Katherine Briggs Gowen (George) of Wesleyville, PA, John "Jake" Briggs (Vera), Donald Briggs (Carolyn) of Fredonia, NY, Kareen Briggs Simmons (William) of Sebring, FL, Martha Briggs Kloecker (Roman) of Erie, PA. and Mary Ellen Briggs (Fields) of Dunkirk, NY.; his children, Sandee Hulihan (Don), Caroline Henney, Jr. (Frederic), James Richard Briggs, Jr. (Kimberely), Paul Briggs, Thomas Briggs (Michelle), Michael Briggs, Steven Briggs (Karen) and Laurel Briggs Stockton; and his grandchildren, Alison Schroeder (John), Colleen Mounts (Richard), Sara Crocoll Smith (Sean), Nicholas Crocoll, James Richard Briggs III (Jenny Berggren), Matthew Briggs (Brenda), Kelsey Briggs, Grace Winters, Thomas Briggs II (Molly Case), Joshua Briggs (Erica), Preston, Margaret (Meg), Courtney Briggs, Craig Briggs, Dennis Briggs and Janeyre Stockton. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great (and great-great) nieces and nephews.
