He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Blondel Kerr and Cecilyn "Cissy" Kerr; his sisters, Marlene and Faye; his sons, Kurt and Darren; his wife Winsome; his daughter-in-law Susan; his grandchildren, Brandon, Shelby and Sydney; his brothers, Billy (Cherry), Douglas (Una), Trevor and Paul (Eleanor); and his sister-in-law Margaret. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease eleven years ago.
