It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ohringer Frank of Longboat Key, Florida, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Abe Ohringer and Helen Ohringer (Stern); and her significant other James A. Frank. She is survived by : her children, Susan Lippard (Thomas) of Point Breeze, Linda Ruth of Ithaca, NY, James W. Frank (Catherine) of Umbria and William O. Frank (Tess Williamson) of Seattle. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh; Community MusicWorks in Providence, RI; or the donor's choice.
