She is survived by: her sons, Gene McGuire Jr. (Cindi) and Michael McGuire (Charmane); her grandchildren, Gene McGuire III (Gracie), McKenzie McGuire, Marybeth McGuire (John) and Massey McGuire; her great grandchild Edith Kathleen McGuire; and her caregivers, Sharon Larry and Lisa Robbinson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kent-Forest Lawn (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Mosley High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, supporting students with a passion for teaching — just as she had.
