We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Milagros Perez-Distel of Marco Island, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Milagros may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Milagros touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Markus Distel; her sons, Marco and Michael; her mother Caridad Perez; and her siblings, Hugo Perez, Hiram Perez and Zully Perez.
A reception in her memory will follow at the family's home at 905 San Marco Rd. Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Friends of Big Cypress National Preserve", an organization Mily supported throughout her life.
