He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Sarah Bidwell (Sally); his children, Robin Murphy (James), Timothy and Andrew McBride (Laurie Boucher); his grandchildren, Sarah Murphy-Holroyd (Simon, Antonimar Murphy) and Hannah Murphy; his sister Janet McBride; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Bacon and Jane Thompson; and his nieces and nephews, John, Robert McBride, Jane, Ann McBride and Pauli Sieben.
