He is survived by : his brother Stan Jachera (Jerry Cardillo); his sons, Robert (Nancy Jachera) and Thomas (Lisa Jachera); his wife Ethel "Sugar" Jachera; his daughter Kathleen Jachera; his grandchildren, Keith, Ryan Agnello, Matthew, Daniel, David, Jessica, Nicholas, Gabriella and Thomas; his sister-in-law Winifred Jachera; and also John Jachera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Oh Sugar!! I just saw that Ted passed away. I am so very sorry as I thought he was such a great guy!!! You and he both shared a love like none other. I was so glad to know you all those years as well as my mother and Father Kenny and Lorraine Lorden. I think about all of you at Les Falls all the time and wondering how you are. What a shame to have Ted gone. I hope you're all right Sugar.”
