“I have known Lorraine for 35 years. She was my supervisor for part of those years. I have written a poem about her: She was a small feisty woman who didn’t take crap from anyone, She held SHOPP together and made working a lot of fun. Sometimes we asked her something and she would say without pause, In her sarcastic voice “you are telling me this because” When she was stressed with work and things would suck She would come out and say “ahhh f*** a duck” She was a great AKA for many, many years, But today we think of her as we shed our tears. She was a jack of all trades from management to payroll, There will never be another Lorraine because she broke the mold.”
