She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Angy and Mary Hughes Angy; and her husband Joel Frank Sasscer. She is survived by: her children, Joshua Russell Sasscer (Leah), Julie Sasscer Widman (Jeremy) and Hannah Sasscer; her grandchildren, Micah, Abigail, Eva, Gabriella, Elise, Ezra, Ayla, Maggie, Iris, Lilah, Eden, Noah, Jeremiah and Jaden; and her brothers, Steve Angy (Barbara), Jimmy Angy (Sharon) and Joey Angy (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Waynesville Christian Fellowship (1115 Dellwood Rd, Waynesville, NC 28786).
