It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herschel Timothy Allen of Melrose, Florida, born in Fernandina, Florida, who passed away on December 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Theron and Ola Del Freeman Allen; his wife Martha Elizabeth Hawkins of Odenville, Ala.; and his siblings, Norman Lee Allen and Margaret Allen McKee.

He is survived by: his son Dr. Kevin Allen (Christy) of McDonough; his grandchildren, Sydney and Ashton; and his sibling's children, Peg McKee Granger, Roy McKee, Dr. Tim McKee and John Allen. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and even great-great-nieces and nephews.
