It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carrie L. Crossley (Merritt Island, Florida), born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 78, on July 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Dale Crossley; and her parents, Henry M. Mcdowell and Mildred V. Clark. She is survived by: her children, Tanya Stewart (Gregg) and Dale Crossley (Marcy); her stepdaughter Debbie Meyers (Paul); her husband's daughter Angela Hernandez; her brother Henry "Buddy" McDowall (Phyllis); and her caregivers, Naketa, Tati, Alexis, Davion, Motavis and Shon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home (1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
