He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Gleacher and Grace Randall Gleacher; his wife Dorothy Ann Mortimer Gleacher; his daughter Sandra Stubbs; his granddaughter Alisa Beckwith; and his brother Walton Gleacher Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Beckwith (Gerald) of Maine, Donna McCormack (Michael), Jeffrey Gleacher (Kristie), Beth Messerli (Alan) and Holly Ortoleva (Peter); and his sister Sally Ann Stanley. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
