He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey White and Iva Mae White. He is survived by : his sisters, Sharon Beekman (Russ) and Gloria White; his children, Meghan Simpkins (Ronald), Courtney Pedersen (Richard) and Derek White (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Madison, Cameron Simpkins, Emily, Joshua Pedersen, Tristin and Noah White; and his sisters, Judy Bradley and Arlene Rogers. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

He donated a great deal of his time serving the church and often called it his second home.

“I have known Norman Wyatt for over 25 years always counted him as a true friend. Norm has always been someone that you could count on no matter what the issue and listening when no one else would. Norm helped many in the community at his own expense and was a great service to the community in which he lived. On a cruise to the Bahamas to visit to the "Queen's Staircase" Norm fell while descending the stairs in typical Norm fashion he got up, brush himself off and said, " OK, what's next?" RIP”
