He was predeceased by: his sister Florence Larsen (Flossie); his nephew Arnold Nilsen; his brother Arnold Nilsen; his nieces, Lynn and Janet; his parents, William Robert and Theodora Stelges; and his sister Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, William R. III (Katrine), Susan Anderson (Fred) and Karen Rockey; and his grandchildren, Donny Cross, Freddy, Jamie, Michael, Ashley Anderson, Andrew (Drew) and Justin Stelges. He is also survived by "Mother".
Gladys dodged Covid-19 and was able to live her last days quietly, as her body continued to weaken until December 6, 2020; alongside her loyal husband, Bill of nearly 69 years, in nearly identical conditions.
