He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline V. Palmer; and his son Davell R. Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Donna Palmer-Isaacs, Wellington Palmer, Antoinette Palmer, Patrice Palmer-Latimore, Rennai Palmer-Kelly and Judine Palmer. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
